Lahemaa National Park is the most famous Estonian attraction outside of Tallinn. The name Lahemaa means Land of Bays, but there’s far more to see than just the beautiful coastal scenery and charming fishing villages. Tartu is the place to come if you really want to capture the spirit of Estonia. You may chose to spend a night in Tartu and possibly continue on to Riga, if you’re undertaking a wider baltic trip.
