Every day of the week from May to September EstAdventures runs one of our sensational day trips through the Estonian countryside to some fascinating places. Most of the tourists don’t make it out of Tallinn, but those who do are really rewarded. You can walk around empty castle parks, buy a snack at a real local store, or eat lunch in a magnificent manor house. There’s a really varied array of things to see and do on our day trips. Leave the postcard hawkers and souvenir stores behind for the day, and let us show you the real Estonia.
Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays. 8-9 hours. €50 per person.
Lahemaa National Park is the most famous Estonian attraction outside of Tallinn. The name Lahemaa means Land of Bays, but there’s far more to see than just the beautiful coastal scenery and charming fishing villages. Bog walks, forest trails and Estonia’s most famous manor house are all waiting to be discovered.

Our feast of the east is centred around the town of Rakvere, with it’s dominating 13th century castle. Eastern Estonia has some of the most interesting historical buildings, and we’ll show you a range of manors and castles which stretch along the stunning north-eastern coast line, as well as some fascinating relics from soviet times.

Most Estonians are trying to forget the Communist period, but you’ll never forget this fascinating insight into the Soviet period in Tallinn. This half day tour includes a visit to Paldiski, the former Red navy base, and a manor house which housed the special rocket forces.

Travel to the charming seaside town of Haapsalu and back again, visiting historic castles and monasteries along the way. Join us on this tour of the best of the west and you’ll hear some strange ghost stories, tragic love stories, and you might just come back with some new stories of your own.
