Andrew is the founder of EstAdventures. He grew up on a sheep farm a few hours from Melbourne, Australia. Andrew has a Masters in History from Monash University. To complete his degree Andrew came to Estonia on a university study exchange in 2004 and moved to Tallinn in 2006. The self titled “Head Honcho”.
“Andrew is a terrific guide, funny and interesting. We were impressed with his research and insight on each location and he struck a great balance between sharing useful background to provide context and allowing us plenty of time to ramble and take photos.”

Kadri is a true city girl from Tallinn, having grown up in a Soviet block locally, although she can often be found wandering the beautiful Estonian countryside at weekends with her dog, Pärtel.
Kadri has a background in film and media so has no shortage of movie facts to share about Tallinn and Estonia. It won’t take her long to tell you about how Tallinn Harbour featured in Tarkovsky’s Stalker or which Hollywood movies feature the music of our beloved composer, Arvo Pärt.
When not running tours, Kadri is running the office to ensure everything runs smoothly for you behind the scenes.
“Kadri presented Tallinn’s history in a highly professional way and in an excellent English. It was great introduction to Estonia and Tallinn where we have never been before. Thank you!”
Marko studied archaeology so when he’s not fighting his way past tourists in Tallinn, he’s out on archaeological excavations, hoping to find the first pyramid of Estonia.
Marko comes from an Estonian-Bulgarian family so his views on life is a strange mixture of northern irony and southern happiness that is a uniquely rare combination. You should expect constant smiling, a lot of hand movements and ironic jokes from him. He also loves to read, travel, hike and swim, especially in the beautiful Estonian wilderness. But sometimes these hobbies get in the way of binge-watching his favourite TV shows.
” Marko was brilliant at storytelling and it was fascinating discovering the city with him! His big smile and enthusiasm made the tour especially engaging and exciting.”
Elis is not just a tour guide, but also student at Tallinn University and a professional singer.
She’s originally from Saku, a small town near Tallinn famous for its beer.
Elis loves to be inspired by new experiences, including travel destinations, music and adventurous activities.
Elis is really passionate about introducing Estonia to our visitors from our beautiful cities and countryside to our people and culture. She is very easy to spot as she usually has the warmest smile in Tallinn and likes to laugh.
” This was the perfect tour for Tallinn. Elis was an entertaining and highly knowledgeable guide. She kept the tour fun but always very informative.”
Jonas is a world citizen who loves nothing more than rambling about the history of Tallinn and Estonia.
Originally from Iceland, Jonas has fallen in love with his adopted country over the past ten years and now has immense local knowledge, which is one of the perks of having a degree in history and a decade experience working in the Old Town of Tallinn.
He enjoys quirky facts, larger-than-life stories and generous tips. When not chaperoning tourists around the Old Town or Lahemaa National Park, Jonas works on archaeological excavations and performs his own music. (He’s seriously good, but abstract music doesn’t always pay the bills).
“Lahemaa was a very nice break from the crowds in old town and Jonas was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable and easy to talk to.”
